Clinic Director

My experience with acupuncture began years ago as a patient. I was suffering from severe chronic migraines and had exhausted all that western medicine had to offer. Out of desperation I reached out to a local acupuncturist and the experience proved to be life changing. Not only did I finally find the relief I was hoping for, I found a new passion. I received my Masters in Acupuncture from Maryland University of Integrative Health after three intense years of study and clinical work. I then achieved national board certification through NCCAOM. Now I focus on what I love, which is reuniting patients with their body's wisdom and coaching them on ways to enhance their wellness.

My particular areas of interest include acute and chronic pain relief, migraines, stress and anxiety and women's health. I have extensive training in Dr. Tan's balance method for pain relief and am continually amazed by the success we see in our clinic using these techniques. Over the years I have logged countless hours of study with many of the most skilled and reputable practitioners of acupuncture for women's health. This informs my treatment of everything from painful periods to the uncomfortable symptoms of menopause.

Though most patients are more familiar with western medicine, I strive to provide a bridge to these ancient and valuable wisdoms for my patients. I'm confident that acupuncuture will benefit anyone in lessening symptoms and gaining a better understanding of how our bodies speak their needs to us. It is a thousand year old tradition that I'm honored to be a part of.
