Dr. Minh Nguyen, D.O.M

Dr. Minh Nguyen specializes in acupuncture for acute and chronic pain management, post-stroke recovery, neurological disorders, anxiety, and depression. After earning her Bachelor’s of Science at the University of Maryland in College Park, she went on to have a long, successful career in computer science and engineering. However, her true calling had always been in healing, East Asian medicine, and using her skills to improve the lives of those around her. In 2008, after her mother suffered a stroke while her father was fighting cancer, she decided to align her path to enable her to better help them. Her career change led her to the Maryland University of Integrative Health where she earned her Master’s and Doctorate of Acupuncture.
Dr. Nguyen grew up in Vietnam, and is passionate about helping Veterans and underserved communities. She strives to share her love of acupuncture and East Asian Medicine and its healing powers to those who need it most. In her spare time, she volunteers at hospice centers, enjoys knitting for charity, and spends time with her family and their Italian Greyhounds, Pico and Leo.
